Paste it anywhere
Drop the upside-down text into a chat, social bio, caption, or document — it is plain Unicode, so it travels with the text.
Frequently asked questions
How does the upside down text generator work?
Each letter is swapped for a Unicode character that looks like its 180-degree rotation, and the whole line is reversed. Read top to bottom it looks flipped, and when you physically turn the screen it reads normally.
Will the flipped text work on Instagram, TikTok, and Discord?
Yes. The result is ordinary Unicode text, not an image, so you can paste it into most social bios, captions, usernames, and chat apps that accept special characters.
Why do some letters look unchanged?
A few characters have no good upside-down counterpart, so they are left as they are. This is the standard convention and keeps the rest of the text readable.
Can I flip text back to normal?
Flipping already upside-down text will not perfectly restore the original, because some characters map to shared shapes. For normal text, the flip is consistent every time.
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. The flip runs entirely in your browser, so whatever you type stays on your device and nothing is sent to a server.
