Frequently asked questions

How does the fancy text generator work?
Each letter and digit is swapped for a look-alike from a different Unicode range — the bold, italic, script, or other styled version of that character. The result is real text, not an image, so you can copy and paste it freely.
Will fancy text work on Instagram, TikTok, and Discord?
Yes. Because every style is ordinary Unicode text, you can paste it into most social bios, captions, usernames, and chat apps that accept special characters.
Are these real fonts?
Not exactly. They are Unicode characters that happen to look like different fonts, so they travel with the text itself — no font needs to be installed on the device that displays them.
Why do some letters or symbols stay the same?
Only letters and numbers have styled Unicode versions, so spaces, punctuation, emoji, and other scripts pass through unchanged. A few letters have no variant in a given style and fall back to their normal shape.
Is my text sent anywhere?
No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser, so whatever you type stays on your device and nothing is uploaded to a server.
